What Is ABC ID Card

According to the National Education Policy 2020, students will receive various benefits through the ABC ID Card.

Whenever admission or exam forms need to be filled out, students are asked for the ABC ID Card.

Under the ABC ID Card, students are granted exemptions based on their convenience upon completion of their studies.

Through this card, students receive credits for their courses from the relevant institutions.

Students with an ABC account are given the opportunity to resume their studies after taking a break.

This card allows students multiple entries and exits.

The maximum shelf life of stored credits on this card is 7 years. After 7 years, it ceases to be beneficial.

How To Apply For ABC ID Card

If you wish to obtain your ABC ID Card, you will need to register online. You can create your ABC ID Card online from the comfort of your home. The process for making an ABC ID Card is outlined below:

1. First, visit the official website of the Academic Bank Of Credit.

2. Next, the homepage of the website will appear.

3. Click on the “My Account” option, then select “Students” from the options.

4. This will lead you to the official website of Digilocker.

5. If you already have an account on Digilocker, click on the “Sign In” option.

6. If you don’t have an account yet, click on the “Sign Up” option.

7. A new page will appear where you need to enter your mobile number and click on the “Generate OTP” option.

8. After that, enter your name, date of birth, gender, username, PIN, and confirm the PIN on this page.

9. Once you have entered all the information, click on the “Verify” option.

10. Then, go back to the homepage and complete the student login process.

11. After logging in to Digilocker, click on the option for ABC ID.

12. On the new page, enter all the requested information such as Academy Year, Institute Type, Institute Name, Identity Type, and Identity Value.

13. Then, click on the “Get Document” option.

14. Your ABC ID Card will now be ready. You can easily download it for future use.
